Sunday saw the triumphant first outing of the East London Comic and Arts Fair, presented by Nobrow Press and situated in Shoreditch's Village Underground. I was there with Print Club London, with our stall 'Esther and Friends' - you can see the treasures we had on offer in the photos below:
It was awesome to have such a great selection of work from Manuel Grinon, Margaux Carpentier, All Cats Are Grey, Ovannak You, Oschon Wespi-Tschopp and Lisa Gildea, who premiered her glorious screenprinted plushie creatures. Margaux's new comic 'The Weresteve' pretty much melted my mind - it's such a treat for the eyes!
Thanks so much for everyone who came by our stall and had a chat, and made the day amazing. Special love is saved for the day's winning Print Club team of Harrie, Lou and Fred who helped make the table look as charming as it did! And words are futile when it comes to thanking champ of champs Adam Ferner for his inexhaustible help, support and mindblowing creative skills. He is an unstoppable force of greatness. Without him, there would be nothing.
